Good news everyone!

The final shipment from the 2008 EP club is in the mail, the books are tallied, and we are now ready to report our incredible success in raising money for a couple great causes.

Thus far, the 2008 Wizard Rock EP of the Month Club has raised $16,000 for First Book and the Harry Potter Alliance!

I'll be writing checks to these organizations this week and they'll be sharing that money equally. Matt and I are totally thrilled about this! We beat last years earnings by $3000 and there's still more to come! I can speak for all the bands when I tell you that this is something that we accomplished together. Without your amazing and dedicated patronage, this club, and many of the great recordings in your collection, probably wouldn't exist, SO THANK YOU!

And maybe this is even better news:

We still have over 150 unsold sets of the 2008 EPs and now that all our expenses are paid, nearly ever dollar from those purchases will be donated to these two organizations. If we sell these remaining subscriptions, we can raise an additional $8000! If you've enjoyed the 2008 EP Club, please recommend it to your friends or purchase a full set of EPs for a loved one!

Happy new year!

First off, the good news: yes, we will be continuing the Wizard Rock EP of the Month Club into 2009. We will be announcing the bands and details shortly!

Now the bad news. We have had very significant production delays on the final 3 releases of 2008. Most of these are related to artwork and stuff like that, but all that really matters to you guys is when they will be shipping out. Right now, it's looking like they'll be getting in the mail towards the very end of the month once Matt is back from his round of January touring.

Thanks very much for your patience. I promise these final 3 EPs are definitely worth the wait!

This is a digital-only release that features 2 songs from each EP released by the club during 2007. All proceeds from the sales of this album will be donated to the Harry Potter Alliance, a Dumbledore's Army dedicated to fighting the dark arts in the real world.

Were you a late joiner to the Wizard Rock EP of the Month Club? Did you miss out on the 2007 Club? Well good news! I just did some digging in the basement and I found exactly 7 (SEVEN) complete subscriptions! I am making these available on the first-come, first-served basis.
